"Tom MacDonald is making the transition from a thirty-year career with the California Energy Commission to form MacDonald Associates, a transportation energy consulting firm specializing in alcohol fuels. In this article, he shares some observations from his November/December 2006  trip to Brazil, where he participated in the Sixteenth International Symposium on Alcohol Fuels.  Further information is available on his website at www.tmacenergy.com.
